# Phones

\
This phone plugin allows players to buy a phone item, which brings up a GUI menu with phone apps when right-clicked. Each player is given a phone number and can add others to their contacts to call or message them. The plugin is GUI based and includes texting & calling. Each phone is linked to an independent phone number, making phone theft possible. This also allows for owning multiple cellphones.

The plugin also includes custom apps (config not player based), contacts, multiple phone types, donator cosmetic phones, an option for company numbers that go to the first to respond, emergency service phone numbers based on countries with dispatchers, charging phones with electricity, wire taps, requiring a nearby cell tower to work, and allowing players to choose their provider and get charged based on messages and call times set by the company.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://imperium1-2.gitbook.io/imperiummc/technology/phones.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
